Dear Experts

I hope someone can help me with requirements of IEC 61010-1, more precisely
with requirements of UL 61010-1.

Pressure vesel is part of the unit which needs to be certified to IEC 61010-1
and also national differences for USA/CAN.
There is high presure vessel with volume 40 Liter, pressure 9 bar and max
temperature 60°C.
There is gas in the vessel which is not flammable neither poisonous therefore
leaking is allowed. The temperature of gas will not exceed 60°C.

The manufacturer of the vessel has test report according to Pressure equipment
directive 2014/68EU. The certificate for vessel is issued by notified body for
2014/68EU directive. There was used for manufacture and inspection standard
ASME sec. VIII-1 Ed.19 Rules for Construction of Pressure Vessels Division 1.
For acceptance was used Pressure equipment directive 2014/68EU. Type
certificate of conformity is Fluid group 1, category III Module B+C2. There
were issued: Prototype inspection certificate Modul B, Certificate of
conformity Modul C2.

The vessel was also tested with 12,9 bar.

Standard IEC 61010-1 has cl. 11.7 where is required to test with 2 x rated
pressure. There is also NOTE which allows to use calculation for example
according to the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23 EC. The 97/23EC was
replaced by 2014/68EU from 2016 July.

Howeve this product needs also national differences for USA/CAN. That means
that Annex G need to be applied, where is required test with 3 times rated
pressure.
Pressure vessel will have 9 bar pressure and this means to apply 27 bar for 1
min. We are not able to apply such pressure and there is also no possibility
for working pressure to exceed gas pressure 9 bar (no connection from outside)
Any idea how to come around this requirement?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Bostjan
