Experts, There is a connector pair that has shrouded male and female pins carrying about 55 VDC at 20 A. Due to capacitance in the circuit, when disconnected and then reconnected for service, there is an an arc which is not visible, but does show up as arc damage to the pins when they are examined. This does not appear to be a hazard to service personnel, but I was asked if there are any requirements to mitigate this. Thoughts and comments, please.
