I'm ready to convert my lathe from an Anilam Crusader ML to EMC2.1. My servo
drives take +10V to -10V so I'm thinking my most cost effective solution is the
Mesa 5i20 and 7i33 for ~$270. My lathe has tach feedback going to the drives
and encoders on the ball screws. There's also an encoder on the spindle.
Will EMC2.1 with the Mesa 5i20 give me threading capabilities on the lathe?
Also, what do you use for breakout boards for the Mesa boards?
