Unfortunately, this new feature builds on other new features added
since emc 2.1 was released, so there is no simple way to add only this
one feature to emc 2.1.
You can try the development version by downloading the source and
building it yourself, but it can be unstable at times since it is under
active development.

to check out the development version, the command is
cvs -z5 -d:ext:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs co -d emc2-head emc2
when you follow the directions and use --enable-run-in-place it won't
disturb any part of the emc 2.1.x package that you have already
installed.
