Gentlemen,
I am trying to home my machine. I am using the limit switches to
home against. The machine will move to the limit/home switch, reverse
direction and move away. This is the action I want but then it is not
finding the index pulse. I do not understand how to get the index
pulse into emc.
I am using ppmc. When I try to connect the pin
ppmc.N.encoder.N.index to the axis.N.index-enable I get an error.
These are both bit pins but the ppmc pin is an out pin from the ppmc
driver and the axis pin is an I/O pin from emc. This doesn't connect.
I would like to know what to connect the ppmc pin to for emc to read
the index pulse. I have been unable to find this in the documentation.
