Greetings. As I have been reading about features requests/questions for EMC, I have one I have been wondering about as well:
How difficult would if be to add 'mirror image' to EMC. I'm talking about using a tool holder on the 'other side' of the lathe center line without changing the G code. That means the X axis has to move opposite of it's usual direction, the spindle has to revolve the opposite direction and I'd guess EMC would have to respond to the opposite limit switch. Mirror Image would be enabled by a G or M code. Actually most of this could be done with Classicladder or hal except the moving The X axis in the opposite direction part. Thoughts?
