emc 1.2.0 is an old and no longer developed version of emc. The current
version of emc2 doesn't have any file named "smallmath.o".
the contents of smallmath.o are uninteresting:
000000cc W acos
000000cc T __acos
000000c0 W atan
000000c0 T __atan
00000050 W cos
00000050 T __cos
00000000 T __ieee754_acos
00000020 W sin
00000020 T __sin
00000080 W sincos
00000080 T __sincos
these functions should be offered by the standard "-lm" math library on
any standard system.
The comment when smallmath.o was added was this:
Made some mods to get EMC working under RedHat 7, against doctors
orders.
(They are ugly and embarassing so don't look at them.)
.. so it's probably not relevant to a mips system.
