If you don't have the latest version, it didn't save every setting, but it did save the channel assignment. Oh, you want to save it as a file, and reload after making a different setting. Hmm, there is a back-door way to do it, because these settings are put in a file with the other files in your configs directory. I think it starts with a ".", so it won't show up unless you do an ls -a command.
