Completely missed that distinction, but still 155 MHz, and the 
memory that I associate with those machines sounds like a 
problem for an EMC2 system.  It will defintely work with a 1999 
NIST EMC(zero) system, but that didn't support steppers.

Yes, to run steppers with software generated step pulses, at 
least that much.
