Hi Andrew,

both emcsh.exe and the emc_running_win_xp you saw were done by compiling
emc1 and rcslib on windows. (the MS Visual C++ project files I started from
are here: http://cvs.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/rcslib/etc/win32msc/),
I remember having to adjust them quite a biot before they worked (some files
changed names, got removed, added, nothing *too* majour though).
You only get a simulated emc (no access to physical hardware), and it only
works for the quite old emc1 (if you get it working). I worked on this a
couple of years ago, and unfortunately I don't have any of the files left
(except the executables, and the rcs.lib).
You can get a copy of the am exe's here:
http://eneas.juve.ro/~juve/emc/emc-server.zip

Regards,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Thanks a million for your help.
Do you know if there is any info / source available for the EMCSH.EXE file.
I would just like to know what is in there and how I could recompile it if
the need arises.
I also noticed on your site a jpg image titled "emc_running_win_xp", how was
this done, was it using the TKEMC win version or were you using x
forwarding?

Thanks again.

Andrew

Subject: TKEMC Windows version

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone still had a copy of the Windows version of TKEmc
and emcsh, that I could grab please. I have searched but I just can't find
it anywhere.
I am yet again going to try and get a Windows GUI PC and a Linux "Motion
Controller" PC working. If anyone has had success in this area I would love
to hear your story.

Regards
Andrew
