The dual booting system you seek is totally doable, but getting things set up can be a bit cumbersome. The first step is going to be to get the new disk into the machine and have the hardware working. Are these old-style IDE drives, SATA, or something else? Are there any CD-ROM drives or other disk-like devices in the computer? Also send the output of "cat /proc/partition" and "cat /etc/fstab". -- Sebastian Kuzminsky Yes, we have a soul. But it is mechanical. -- Daniel Dennet ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
