I had not been thinking about this right. The problem you are having is that you don't actually have a joint 8. Jogging and jog wheels operate on joints, not axes. Moving your axis W causes several joints to move. There is no way to jog axis W. This is one of the things that will be fixed as support for nontrivkins machines improves.
