Yes, I did verify the CD at the initial boot menu and as far as I can tell there was not a problem (all ok's on the screen and no failed's) . No ,I did not check the iso check sum. If the cd I cut is fine according to my previous statement can the check sum of the iso still be bad? How do I verify the check sum. Apoligies for the stupid questions but my machining skills are a lot better than my computer skills! Regadrs Craig
