Hi all, Just wanted to express my thanks to all the developers and others that have helped with the latest release of emc.
I started at about 11:00 am this morning to update my 2.0.0 to the latest release. Installed Live off the CD then did the updates (which took about 1.5 hours). I swear everyone else wanted them at the same time because my usually decent cable went as low as 35 Kb/sec. I had a few issues with changed nomenclature in hal related to setting the spindle speed and homing on index. Ray Henry and people on IRC, mainly jepler got me set straight. Home on index now works for the stg card ( I think thanks there go to alex). By 4:00 pm everything was working. Many thanks to all who spend time working on emc in various capacities. I will do some testing in the next few days of things that didn't work too well with 2.0.0 and see if I don't get improvements. :-) See most of you, I hope, at fest.
