As someone else has mentioned the cutter needs lots of relief. I use many threadmills, and often if needs arise make a single tooth cutter from worn out slotdrills. Here's a quick vid I did for someone a while ago, Lefthanded/ext/whit form. Slower than a multitooth cutter, but got the job done. Only downer for you guys is it's a mach controlled machine at the moment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQ1rYX559Gk Wayne.... -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wayne M Weedon Fdos Design Poole UK Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tel +44-1202-677025 Fax +44-1202-770515 Mob 07774 439915 Skype fdosdesign Specialists in small batch & Production Mechanical/Electrical Engineering --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
