The linuxcnc.org project no longer develops versions of emc older than
emc2. If you would like to pursue using emc2 with your sherline lathe,
this is a good place to ask for help resolving problems. We would also
be pleased to incorporate working sherline lathe configuration files in
a future release of emc2.
For help with the prior version of emc and its associated linux
distribution known as BDI, you may be able to find help on the bdi4emc
project's mailing list. An information page about this list is
