This makes me feel better.  I was considering rewiring the board in such a
way that each axis had a seperate pin.  Glad I did not waste time doing
that.

I thought this might be the possible problem.  It was getting quite late and
had already powered down when I sent the email.  I will check the HAL file
tonight for other pin-01 connections and retry.  If I continue to get
errors, I will drop the files and error reports into the pastbin.
