No limit switches. Where do I find the "step config" ? Was that part of the
machine config
I set up originally through the config wizard?

Do you have limit switches?

If you do not, then remove the configuration for limit switches. In
stepconf, this means setting the pin setup to "unused" for pins which
are currently listed as "limit" of one kind or another.

If you do, verify that they are hooked up as you intended. Use halmeter
(Machine > Halmeter menu item in axis) to verify the value seen by emc
for the corresponding signal is what is expected (TRUE for switch
closed, FALSE for switch open). If the value does not change when the
limit switch closes, then verify the wiring again. If it does, but it
TRUE for switch open, FALSE for switch closed, then change your
configuration to use the inverted output. This means turning on the
corresponding "invert" checkbox in the parallel port configuration
screen of stepconf.
