So can you please help me here. > If you have the fonts in the tgz file, you can use them.... I suggest expanding the tar file into the same place you have the python program installed. The command is "tar -xzvf cxf_fonts.tgz" ... looking at the tar file it will create a subdirectory called cxf_fonts. Then if you edit the engrave11.py file, you can change line 36 to point to a default font that you like. something like fontfile = "/home/dave/cxf_fonts/romanc.cxf" The other option is to install qcad... it can be quite useful for doing part drawings. There are several dxf to gcode converters around that can be used with the qcad drawing files and emc. cheers LawrenceG > Well Mr. Glaister I see you wrote this programme, pleased to meet you and > thank you very much for the programme. > > Best wishes > Dave > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge > Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes > Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world > http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ > _______________________________________________ > Emc-users mailing list > Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
