Hello, EMCers, I installed the gcode Effects for Inkscape but get the following error from Inkscape when running the Export as Gcode or when doing a Save As...
Unknown option: -- usage: python [option] ... [-c cmd | -m mod | file | -] [arg] ... Try `python -h' for more information. I get the same result when running on my EMC2 installation using 6.06LTS(Dapper) or using a 7.1(Gutsy) Ubuntu system. Other Effects/extensions do appear to work okay. This appears to be something simple but, so far, I haven't found the cause. I did make the scripts executable and they are located in the /usr/share/inkscape/extensions directory as described in the http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?InkscapeHowto document. The gcode extensions are showing up in the Inkscape menus okay. Any pointers on resolving this little issue will certainly be appreciated.
