I have a question about the machine not moving as when the app first fires up. I am currently using the EMC2 which comes already installed on Ubuntu 6.06.. Here is what happens.. When I first start the program and try to move the machine using the arrow keys, it will not move.. I tried setting the feed rate like F300 but it still does not move.. I have found out that if I start a file, let it run a few lines then the machine can be moved by the arrow keys for the rest of the day.. I have tried setting the speed etc and to no avail.. How can I get around this?
