Gentlemen,
Ubuntu 9.04 (I know - not supported but my laptop runs soooo much
nicer with 9.04 and other sims run)
emc2-trunk-sim
added new machine in vismach (my hydrotel cinici)
change makefile to compile 5axhydrotel.c (added lines in two places)
install 5axhydrotel.gui in emc2-trunk/sim/src/hal/user_comps/vismach
configure --enable-run-in-place --enable-simulator (took a little
while to satisfy dependencies but not bad)
make
compiles clean
start emc2 with 'emc2-trunk-sim/scripts/emc'
choose 5axhydrotel in the vismach directory
start errors - does not find emc.nml (received same error in 6.06
and put emc.nml in the vismach directory)
(I want to
use it properly now) :)
looked in other directories for emc.nml
found in emc2-trunk/configs/common
heard discussion about not needing emc.nml in each directory (I like that)
tried . emc-trunk-sim/scripts/emc-environment - did not help
how do I cause my machine to access the common directory?
