I built a gantry-style plasma table. X, Y1, Y2 and Z axes, Y1 and Y2 linked
together. Before I read that Stepconf doesn't work well with gantry systems,
I actually got it to work.

I needed to change a parallel port setting for coolant flood (torch on/off)
and now the motors turn very very slowly, maybe even just bounce a little.

The example config 'stepper-gantry' fails on EMC2 load. The config
'stepper-inch' loads but obviously will not help me with my particular
setup.

I have a PMDX-132, 4 Gecko 201 drivers, and four motors. Nothing wiring
related has changed; it is obviously software-related.

I compared the .hal files for my config and the stepper-inch .hal files and
they seem to match up, with the exception of the coupled Y motors.

My port pinout is simple:
1 - spindle on
2 - X dir
3 - X step
4 - Y1 dir
5 - Y1 step
6 - Y2 dir
7 - Y2 step
8 - Z dir
9 - Z step
10 - N/A
11 - X home
12 - Y home
13 - Z max limit inverted
14 - coolant flood
15 - N/A
16 - N/A
17 - charge pump

I remember seeing Amplifier Enable somewhere but have no idea what it was
for or if it was even used at all.

If I use my old configuration, EMC will load fine with no problems, but when
I try to operate the motors, they whine like they are moving but barely even
make one or two steps. I also have had problems with the charge pump
circuitry making my controller board pulse the outputs on and off, and it
never did this either.

I'm all ears for help. I feel like I have tried everything, but I'm sure I
haven't considering my table worked flawlessly at one time, and now it
doesn't.

Thanks in advance for any help.
