         That machine ought to do the trick.  I'd still run the 
latency-test though, 
http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?Latency-Test, just to 
ensure there's nothing running in the BIOS or anywhere else that 
could foul things up.
