My 2c. I usually have a mains relay that is tied to EMC2 e-stop button. My .hal file has this: http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/Shizuoka/emc2/configs/ST-N_current/shizuoka-1a.hal (Short URL) http://preview.alturl.com/5eio ... # create a signal for the estop loopback #1# net estop-loop iocontrol.0.user-enable-out iocontrol.0.emc-enable-in charge-pump.enable net estop-loop iocontrol.0.user-enable-out iocontrol.0.emc-enable-in parport.1.pin-04-out ... So parport pin 4 goes to an SSR (solid state relay) plus relay(contactor) that controls the mains power to everything except the PC. The charge pump line is commented out until I get it working. -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us!
