I didn't think you could do that.  I thought you had to do a newsig signalname.


So is the signal name used to break the connection also?  I must have missed 
that.  Now that makes sense.

So the signal name could be described as a node in the context of connecting 
two pins?

The EMC3 software design with the pins - output and input pins is very clever.
