Greetings all;

Is there a way to tell AXIS to draw the tools actual cutting width instead of
a single pixel centerline in the back trace display, but only do this when
the tool tip is in Z minus territory? Could it be tied into the color
change it does now?

If there isn't, then could this be a feature request? Make the path a single
pixel wide when cutting air, but convert it to a full width tool when in the
workpiece? We could then see that shape & size of a drilled hole for
instance, or the complete 3d outline of something like this sprocket I'm
working on. I'll put a screenshot or 2 on my web page, of what I have but in
watching it run I see I need to change the starting location of where I drop
the bit when doing the tooth gullets, its in the material now, and needs to
be outside of it so its not a plunge cut. That's done, see at
<http://gene.homelinux.net:85/gene/emc> as Sprocket*. txt and .png's.

It would help tremendously in verifying ones code without making a lot of
scrap. Trying to see what this spocket will look like in the back trace is
something my ancient wet ram just doesn't seem to be able to do at all well.

BTW, I am trying to make this code adaptable to any chain size just by
changing the known properties of roller_diameter, link length and # of teeth,
so I'll donate it when its working.
