And I have just updated it to do the depth in the specified number of multiple passes, and a bit of a cheat on the passes up to the final one, I'm telling it the bit is 10 thou bigger for the passes up to the last one, then repeating the final depth with the right bit size to do a light finish cut that should really be smooth. Also added a backlash takeup move to the table rewind at the end of a pass. The next one I make should ought to be 'purty'. :) Silly Q for anyone with such shade tree mechanic experience? Can I use one of those 'in the tank' electric fuel pumps to do a squirt of cutting oil on the workpiece every x seconds, just tossing it into a small tank of cutting oil & triggering it with a hal function at 10 second intervals?
