Is there any facility in your software to calcualte feed and speeds for tools? I find this feature very helpful.
I have four different commercial cam softwares and one is not very good and one is much more expensive but somewhat limiting in areas where I feel I should have complete control. The other two fall in the middle. Things like entry point of the cut I feel should be in complete control of the programmer. Is it possible to download your demo vids? I'm on broadband but on the slowest connection speed possible on earth I think. I guess this should be somewhere else than EMC's mailing list. As for EMC's post I prefer no line numbers and I prefer the cam software not to use canned cycles. IMHO the cam software should only use G0, G1, G2/3 moves for milling.
