Hello to everybody, I'm trying to get better precision only in the X axis, it run with two ball screw and one servo The problem is belt transmission that is too long ( 1400mm between ballscrew ), so transmission is no rigid enough; it's no possible to tune the servo properly, oscillation are present and I'm not able to get down error.
I think two servos for the X axis will work well as belt transmission wont be the problem. 1- It that possible using servos? 2-I've been looking through wiki, but only I've found was related to parpport and steepers, so anybody can give me a clue where to find information or examples in order to modify the INI and HAL ? Please pardon my inexperience if this topic as been discussed before. Thanks Riter PD: The Gantry work with mesa card 5i20 + 7i33 + brushless servos, The mechanics are: Two ballscrew 25*25mm for the X axis + One 450w servo One ballscrew 25*25mm for the Y axis + One 450w servo One Ballscrew 15*10mm for the Z axis + One 450w servo ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
