I use this through a C22 interface from CNC4PC in my motenc_io.hal file-
#Feed override section
net fo-a encoder.1.phase-A <= parport.1.pin-02-in
net fo-b encoder.1.phase-B <= parport.1.pin-03-in
newsig fo_en bit
net fo_en halui.feed-override.count-enable <= parport.1.pin-07-in
net raw-pend-counts encoder.1.counts => ilowpass.0.in
net fo-counts halui.feed-override.counts <= ilowpass.0.out
setp halui.feed-override.scale 0.01
The encoder is a simple MPG wheel installed in the machine operators
panel wired to the C22 board.
I have since moved it to two other unused pins on the C22 after installing
an MPG pendant to the same interface.
Works like a champ on tkemc. Need to figure out how to change it to jog
feedrate when in manual and feedrate override in mdi and auto though.
