Hmmmm! Unfortunately, the CAM program can't read your mind so it is
forced to do what ever the drawing spec's. 

Synergy (www.webersys.com) takes an interesting approach; it will cut
into the corner as far as it can w/o gouging. Then you either use a
smaller cutter or the corner routine with a smaller cutter to
appropriately clean out the corners. CAM has to take a conservative
approach just to stay out of trouble. One can hand program simple stuff
and stay out of trouble. B-splines, etc ... one pretty much has to trust
the CAM to do the job correctly. 

It is too bad but occasionally one must think and plot pretty seriously
to fool emc, or any other system, into doing what you want. Life is like
that.
