Just look up Dempster Dumpster or Dempster Dumpmaster on Wikipedia for the full story. Descendants of these things are now in use in the hundred thousands in the US, practically all US industrial garbage from stores, restaurants, shops and factories is handled by something of this nature. So, in the US, even a 3 year-old probably knows exactly what a "dumpster" looks like and what it is for.
