In your 'config-name'.hal, this
loadrt probe_parport
loadrt hal_parport cfg=0x378

will likely be replaced by
loadrt probe_parport
loadrt hal_parport cfg=0xd000

There may be other changes, but those are what comes to mind, and might 
extract some meaningful err messages that should lead to a complete fix.
