I would like to find a program that would allow me to sketch a part on paper,
run it through my scanner, then easily change the sketch into a dxf (or other
vector format). Once it is in dxf format I can edit it to eventually
to go to gcode.

This is more to cut parts than to make an 'etching' of a sketch... but
that would
be a nice trick too, and I think is already doable.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

... Jack
