Thanks for the help on that one too. So do I understand you right in thinking that you can upload files to the Bandit controller via the RA-232 port? Does it use some sort of transfer protocol, like x-modem or something older? And yes, I did look through the manual enough to see that feeding it g-code is rather involved. I tried to use a G83, but the manual did not go into depth on how to set depth, step, and working standoff distance. It did have a overall description of the overall zietgiest of how coefficients are added to various terms in a function. But we were on our way to lunch and it was too complicated for my brain wracked with taco cravings to overcome.
