I am getting the iso from linuxcnc.org at 352K/sec.  Your ISP could be the 
culprit.  If a torrent file is available, and there are enough seeders, and 
your ISP doesn't block torrents, that might be the way to go.  But since 
its been out for a year, seeders may be in short supply.

Whats your general location, maybe someone close could mail you the burned 
CD?
