I am rather a fan of the P Horn supermini boring bars. They are ideal for small bores on a lathe (or potentially with a boring head on a milling machine). They go down as small as 0.2mm, but that's just silly. I find the couple I have (and the holder I made) to be very useful for bores in the 5mm - 20mm range.
There is a job lot on eBay.uk at the moment, 110 of them. I don't need that many, so they are only worth about £50 to me. The thing is that 10 of them is probably worth £50 to me. Is anyone else interested in investing in a share?
