Ok, shift key at the end of post, thanks Seb. I'll probably have to do
that because I changed the default to 2 in /boot/grub/grub.cfg in order to
get it to run memtest.

And memtest has now run 2 full cycles with no errors. I think I will let
it get cold again tonight before I break out of memtest, just for S&G.

The bios health screen says one of the 5's is 4.86, but it seems stable so
I wonder if it has a good temp comp, or fades as the temps drop. I really
expected to see memory errors right quick. This crash is one that takes
the video down to just noise on the screen.

I suppose a fresh psu is next, based on that low 5 volts. It will NOT be
an Antec, they spend far more on engineering those to run 2 weeks past the
warranty & fall over, expecting more sales that way. I have not had one of
those work for more than a month past the warranty and I've had several.
:( Eventually I figure this stuff out. ;-)

There is another 5 volts it reports as being 5.01, so I hope it not the
mobo.

Nearly 20:00 here, and down to 51F. I turned off the heat and lights for
the night.

[...]

Cheers, Gene
