If you have that setup so's a click in firefox on a .brd or .sch file was opened in eagle automatically, could you share the firefox magic? I have what I think may be a usable encoder board drawn up, at <http://coyoteden.dyndns-free.com:85/gene/Genes-os9-stf/lathe-encoder.brd> And <http://coyoteden.dyndns-free.com:85/gene/Genes-os9-stf/lathe-encoder.sch> But I haven't attempted to make gcode out of it just yet. The only things Drc is fussing about is I believe, related to the part mounting holes in the pcb, which are purposely about 10 thou bigger than the holes in the opto parts ears so I can pry it around a bit & fine tune the quadrature of the pulses. It also is obviously going to be a dbl sided board which could get interesting because I have no facility to plate thru a hole, and no clue how to even start but I can likely rig some wire wrap to substitute, I have done it before when repairing stuff. Take a look and shoot it down if it needs it. Cheers, Gene -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
