No time like when you need it.  Another thought, dependent on how well it 
has galled & self welded, would be to get out the mig, and weld a handle to 
it.  Between the heat of the welding, and a little PB Blaster, it might 
come off that way if you can adequately hold the screw, like putting the 
drive components back onto the splined end?  If it works, a heck of a lot 
faster than the edm which I can imagine taking several very noisy hours, or 
would using my supply and capacitor.  80 volts, 10 u-f= a god awful, make 
yur ears ring racket.  also faster than the usual 30 volt .5 u-f setup.
