Sometimes I actually do my best work before breakfast, depending on where the sugar is when I get up. If I'm hungry, I usually check it before loading up on very much in the way of carbs. I have a clue from the messages log being full of these when I try to load my own page from its external, look it up on a network DNS server: Mar 5 20:34:04 coyote klogd: martian source 192.168.71.3 from 192.168.71.3, on dev eth0 Mar 5 20:34:04 coyote klogd: ll header: 00:1f:c6:62:fc:bb:4c:e6:76:ad:34:0a:08:00 However, google hasn't turn up an instance of it bitching about the machines own local address, so I am a bit bumfoozled. The second line contains two mac addresses,00:1f:c6:62:fc:bb (my eth0 hardware) and 4c:e6:76:ad:34:0a (the LAN MAC of my router) and the packet error type in the last 2 bytes.
