Helping a friend try to get his LinuxCNC box up and running and we've been playing around with extra software. I've gone in through the Synaptic Package Manager on my machine at work (Ubuntu 11.10) and have Visolate up and running fine. Unforch, on 10.04 LTS, Visolate is not available as a package. So, we went to Sourceforge, and downloaded the jar file, version 2.1.6. Updated all the java stuff, libs included. Try to run:
>java -Xmx2516m -jar visolate-2.1.6.jar and get a whole bunch of exceptions thrown. Tried running same jar file on my 11.10 system and get similar exceptions thrown. Anybody successfully get visolate to successfully run on a 10.04 system, and if so, what did you do?
