IIRC D425 has single core CPU, D525 has dual-core CPU and the price is very close. > Could U use such a card as a linuxCNC platform? You may have noticed that me and other list members are thrilled by the D525 board - it works great and the price is awesome. So answer to Your question is - yes, of course!!! I just think that D525 would be better choice - it gives and option to isolate one cpu for realtime and thus improve the performance.
