LinuxCNC can accept standard G-code (which is a simple text format) with any file extension. You can just open the file from LinuxCNC by selecting "show all files" but it is nicer in the long term to add the Artcam file extension http://www.linuxcnc.org/docs/html/config/ini_config.html Section 2.3 ArtCAM seems to have a generic output filter called "G-Code", I would try using that one, though most of them would probably work. Mach3 might not be a bad choice. What file extension does ArtCAM actually use? -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
