No, definitely not a Colchester, and probably not British at all, as they tended to put the feed handle at the back (so Z was right-hand, and X was left hand). Unlike the US practice of putting your left hand under the flow of hot swarf controlling Z. I use a Colchester Student as shown in that picture rather regularly, it's an extremely nice bit of kit.
