I am not sure how to add this to the wiki, and I don't realy have the time to
spend figuring it out.
One thing I would like to see is an option to remove the stop at end of next
line limit and read ahead more lines. Make it be able to stop by the end of
the last line read, or the end of the cut (next G0). Maybe allow the end user
to choose the number of lines read ahead to tune performance for their system.
The current system is definitely the limiting factor in milling time for the
type of wood carving I am doing. I recently (re)built a carving machine, with
accelerations more than twice as fast as another simular carving machine we
have (both using LinuxCNC) and carving time for the same file isn't appreciably
different. Yet another carving machine using different control software (with
multi line look ahead) has a significantly shorter run time (2hr vs 1:40) for
the same code. Yes, I am using G64 PXXX (set to P0.005)

I started a wiki page as a reference / scratch pad of ideas for linuxcnc 3.
It would be best to add your two cents here so things are not forgotten
and are all in one spot so we have a reference for discussion and planning.
Feel free to add more headings.
I think a short general statement as a minor heading then any details
under it would be a good start - I added a few things in this way.
Don't be afraid of adding your crazy idea - I'd rather see us pare down
the list then wish we had thought of an idea earlier.
