If its not running on that machine, then an ssh -Y as the linuxcnc running user into that machine, and then 'linuxcnc -l' will export the display to your machine. IIRC you will be asked, if its already running, if you would like to kill that session and restart it with the display exported to the machine in front of you. But because I don't have a tv camera observing the machine, I first make sure the motor power is off, otherwise I might break the tool left in it. But I do run code that way just to make sure I have all the plus & - signs in the 'while' loops correct, and that the backplot shows it would do what I want before I even mount a workpiece. My setup of course is stepper powered, and linuxcnc usually has no feedback from steppers. You couldn't power down the servos unless the position feedback is totally contained within the servo's & is not reported to linuxcnc.
