I'm not sure about mine.  The chucks are on adapter discs, and it has been 
long enough since I had it off that I don't know if the spindle nose is 
even threaded.  But I've never unscrewed it running in reverse either.  
Running this motor backwards discloses that the fan/pulley backs itself off 
quite easily.  I think if I was to make use of the reverse, I would 
probably superglue the threads.
