True, but you *can* find USB Wifi dongles that work with it.

I finally went and dug up the one I've used, it's labeled "D-Link 
DWL-G122, Hardware version B1".  It's not fast for a wifi interface, but 
it's faster than sneakernet, and it works well with the LinuxCNC 2.5 LiveCD.
